Business Owners Dialogue Group (BODG)
An experienced Board of Directors for business owners

Business Owners Dialogue Group (BODG) provides a forum for business owners to discuss and resolve issues that confront them on a day-to-day basis in a confidential setting. Drawing on the experience of seasoned professionals for solutions, topics range from human resource issues to sales, marketing, finance, succession planning and logistics.

How Does it Work?

BODG consists of 12-14 peers from non-competing companies representing various types of industries and organizations. The standard meeting lasts 90 minutes, once per month. Each participant of the group takes turns hosting a meeting and establishing the meeting agenda. Each member will candidly share their business challenge and goals, while receiving honest feedback and insight from those who have been through these types of experiences. To share the knowledge in a safe and non-competitive environment results in better business achievement, builds optimal leadership skills, and will create long lasting relationships with peers. BODG is not intended as a venue for casual, social conversation or to serve as a networking platform for sales leads/presentations

Participation Guidelines to join the Group

Membership is limited to business owners who have been in operation for at least two years, and is non-competing with current business members of the group.

Strong attendance is necessary for participation to benefit the individual or group. A minimum attendance of 7 out of the 10 meetings is required. Group meets on the 4th Wednesdays of the month at the Corridor Nine office from 7:30-9:00 am.

Members are expected to arrive on time and participate for the full length of the meeting. (In the event of an emergency or unavoidable conflict, members are asked to contact their group facilitator. Due to confidentiality, substitutes and/or guests are not allowed.)

Members are to share openly and honestly and to maintain complete confidentiality

Members are to read the material sent in advance of the meetings to be prepared for the discussion

Members are held accountable on how they implemented the groupís advice for their issue.
