Community Involvement
Volunteer for Community Initiatives
The Chamber and its membership recognize the importance of staying active in the community where its members do business. By volunteering, we are all able to keep a hands-on approach to affecting positive outcomes in the communities we serve. We offer abundant opportunities for you and your employees to share their time and/or talents. Here are a few ways you can be involved with the community as a volunteer through Corridor 9/495:
- Annual Community Service Day in September
- Judges for Science Fairs
- Community Reading School
- Reality Fairs for High Schools
- Mentoring Programs for High School students
- Evaluating scholarships for High School students
- Evaluating mini-grant applications for educators
- Career Day Guest Speakers
If you’d like to volunteer, contact the chamber office directly.
