Karen Chapman
President/CEO
Karen is the President and CEO of the Chamber since 2014 after serving as the Chamber’s Vice President since 2002. Karen is responsible for the overall operation of the organization and advancing the mission and strategic goals of the Chamber. Karen’s career spans over 40 years in the Chamber profession. She launched her career at the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce and played an instrumental leadership role in growing and strengthening the affiliate chamber programs.
Beyond her work, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, soaking up the sunrays at New England beaches, traveling, and Broadway theater. Karen is a 2007 graduate of the Institute of Organizational Management by the U.S. Chamber, and has been honored twice by the Girl Scouts as a “Woman of Distinction” in 2000 and 2008.

Carlene Covino
Director of Programs and Events
Carlene joined the Chamber in September of 2022 as the Director of Programs and Events. In her role, Carlene oversees the management and development of Chamber programs and events, marketing for events including social media, and assists in developing and growing the Chamber.
When she is not working Carlene enjoys gardening, baking and decorating cakes, and spending time with her family.

Sarah Champagne
Membership Relations Coordinator
Sarah joined the Chamber in November of 2023 as the Member Relations Coordinator with the crucial role of cultivating and retaining members. Her responsibilities include assisting members with taking advantage of their membership benefits, prospecting and recruiting new members, and personal outreach to existing members to retain their membership. Outside her activities with the Chamber, Sarah enjoys time with her son and family, reading, the arts, and getting outdoors to enjoy all that New England offers.
